December 6, 1950 – November 23, 2012

Brian Cleary was a full time jazz pianist/vocalist who lived and made music in the Detroit area for over thirty years. He performed solo and as leader of small combos – in nightclubs, piano bars and restaurants, as well as for theatre, festivals, private clubs and hotels.

At the time of his death he had been working on a series of recordings with the musicians and vocalists with whom he played regularly.

A selection from those recordings will be issued in the coming year.
